IMPORTANT TRYOUT INFORMATION: All students interested in trying out for a team are required to submit documents, including a current physical and health insurance, BEFORE tryouts.

Doctor's visits MUST take place after June 5th, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year and after June 12th, 2026 for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

NOTICE FOR ALL STUDENTS ATTENDING HOME GAMES: Students will turn in their backpacks when entering the game and pick them up when they leave. Backpacks will be tagged and placed in a secure location.

District Sporting Event Policies

Broward County Public Schools continues to enforce increased security measures at all District sporting events taking place on school campuses.

At IRMS home games, students will turn in their backpacks when entering the game and pick them up when they leave. Backpacks will be tagged and placed in a secure location.

Spectators are not permitted to carry backpacks or bags inside event venues, except for diaper bags, which will be searched prior to entering.
Clear plastic bags no larger than one gallon in size (approximately 10” x 12”) are permitted.
There is no re-admittance once inside the venue.

Practices will be in the mornings from 8:00-9:00 (days may vary); parents will need to provide transportation.

Cross Country is not yet funded by the County for Middle Schools in terms of transportation. As a member of the team, it will be the player’s responsibility to obtain transportation to and from morning practices/meets. While we do understand the imposition this may impose, our hands are tied.
